Part two of our series on garage flooring gives a reviews from some of our customers who had it done.
Garage Floor Coating: Bye Spots
Hi, my name is Erica. My husband David is a big time grease monkey. When he’s not with me he’s out in the garage working on restoring his ’65 mustang. The only problem is, he moved the car out a while back and we noticed that there were a LOT of ugly spots. We tried a lot of things to get it off, but while some of the products helped, we still stains left over. We’re getting ready to sell our home and we didn’t know what to do. Then a friend of ours suggested installing resin garage flooring. We did and what a huge difference it made. It turned our garage into a showpiece.
After we installed the garage flooring, our real estate agent even told us that we could ask about $10,000 more than we would have got for the house because we put it in. So, it obviously made a big difference. We’re even going to put it in at our next home too. That way I don’t have to worry about spots and stains and David can work on his baby.
Resin Garage Flooring: A Great Home Improvement
Resin garage flooring isn’t an expense, or even a luxury. It’s something more. It is an investment in your home. Some home improvements such as a new paint job or new rain gutters don’t really add that much value to your home. New flooring is a sure selling point for any home. In some cases it can add to your home’s value by as much as 2% of the selling price.
So remember, if you want to make home improvements, use this rubric. One, they should last a long time. Two, they should be easy on the eyes. And three, they should add value to your home. With all that said, it’s hard to beat garage floor coating.
