Under Stair Storage Cabinets | (480) 456-6667
In our last home improvement article we covered the idea of taking that useless dummy drawer under your sink and turning it into a paper towel dispenser, but what about your closet? Most homes have closets that are a bunch of open space, and a couple of perfunctory clothes bars. This setup usually causes homeowners to buy bedroom furniture so they can put things like socks, underwear, and t-shirts in them, while hanging more dressy clothes in the closet.
Again, a practical home improvement project would be to make better use of your space. A storage cabinet placed in your closet or maybe even a totally custom closet solution would be in order. Does a custom closet or storage cabinet mean no bedroom furniture? Of course not, such solutions, are again, ways of maximizing your existing storage space. These are some ideas that are definitely outside the box.
Thinking Outside the Box: Storage Space
When people think of storage cabinets, they’re usually thinking of something like an armoire or a wardrobe, namely something free-standing and in short, bulky and a use of storage space that actually detracts from the flow of the room or the aesthetics. However, if you conceal your cabinets in strategic places in your home, you can triple your storage space, add to your structural integrity, and ultimately have more places to put things.
A staircase has a diagonal area that is often nothing but wasted space in most homes. How would you like to install a cabinet that blends perfectly into the space under your stairs? As you see, there are lot of great projects you can do with the right help. All you have to do is think outside of the home improvement box.
